Some Results Finally In!

Thank God for our CF nurse Margie! She called and said two of the results (blood in stool and white blood cells) are in and they are NEGATIVE!! We are still waiting on one other test. I was wrong before. The specialist was thinking that this was related to strep and that was why she was putting him on the low dose of Penicillin daily. So I stand corrected and probably in my fear of what might be wrong, I didn't hear that the rheumatoid specialist was actually in agreement with me.

I did actually have that uncomfortable conversation with my primary doctor's nurse and she completely understood why I called the specialist and said it was probably a good idea to follow her directions while he was under her care.

He's had three doses and he is better than he was but still not 100%. I am thanking God for answered prayers tonight! For the first time since he had the test done, I will sleep well. Maybe this "head in the sand" thing isn't the way to go after all.
