Day 1 a Success!

I had the absolute best day with Gia yesterday. I think she was just as relieved to have the kids go back to school as I was. She ate like a champ (for the first time EVER) and slept like one, too. She kept coming up to me and in a sing song voice, she'd say, "Wuv you, Mommy." She was full of hugs and kisses and even watched an episode of Dora while I cleaned the house after breakfast. She then promptly made it a mess again but I didn't care. She was so happy. Right after lunch and before I had a chance to clean up, I was taking her picture and she wanted me to put on music. I had the good sense to press record on my camera and this is what I got. I can't get through it without laughing so hard that my kids have said, "Mom, it's not that funny." I don't know why it cracks me up so much but it does. On my camera, it is clear as day but on my computer, it is choppy. Leo says it is because I am on a crappy computer. I hope that is the case and that you all can see a better version of it.



I really needed to go to Target but I didn't want to ruin the great day with a meltdown. It's days like yesterday that make me feel like the luckiest mom in the world. Plus, I figured out how to chat on FB with my Nook. Leo totally got it right this year. I love that thing! I now have music on there and am in the middle of book. All in all, the first day back to normal was a success!

Aw, thanks, Ladies. She does crack me up. Kendra...butt-wiggle trot is a good way to describe it. Robin, so funny that you remember what I sound like. I guess that is true. When you don't see someone for over 20 years, the sound of their voice would evoke some memory, wouldn't it?
